A real conversation
We start with what you are trying to accomplish, what matters most, and what would make the move work for your life.
Leighton Ohlson, REALTOR®
I help buyers and sellers in Palm Coast and throughout Flagler County make sense of the details and move forward at the right pace.

From my point of view
I’m a Florida native and a UCF graduate, but the roles that mean the most to me are husband and father. When I’m not working, I enjoy time with my family, playing golf, surfing, cooking, or spending a day at the beach.
Living abroad gave me a deeper appreciation for what it takes to feel at home in an unfamiliar place. I learned to look beyond the basics of a community and pay attention to the routines, relationships, and small details that make everyday life feel familiar. I carry that perspective with me when helping someone relocate to Flagler County or discover a new part of it.
Over the years, I’ve learned that a move is rarely just about a property. It is tied to a family’s priorities, finances, routines, and plans for what comes next. My job is to understand the full picture, explain the tradeoffs clearly, and help each client move forward without unnecessary pressure.
That is the kind of experience I want you to have: personal, straightforward, and grounded in what matters to you.
What you can expect
My role is to keep the process understandable, stay close to the details, and give you room to make the decision that is right for you.
We start with what you are trying to accomplish, what matters most, and what would make the move work for your life.
I explain the choices, tradeoffs, and next steps in plain language so you can make decisions with confidence.
You work with me directly. I stay involved through the questions, inspections, negotiations, closing, and the decisions in between.
If I see a concern, I will say so. If an answer belongs with another professional, I will help you identify the right person to ask.
A wider perspective
My background in mortgage loan origination gives me a practical understanding of how financing, monthly costs, and cash needed at closing can shape a home search. I do not offer or advertise mortgage services, I simply bring that perspective to the questions we discuss.
Real estate also touches areas where the right answer should come from a lender, insurer, attorney, inspector, title professional, or another specialist. I will help you identify what needs to be verified and who should answer it.
Let’s talk
You do not need to have every detail worked out. Share what you know, what you are unsure about, or the question that brought you here.
